The UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center Press has been publishing books since 1970.
Notable books include the award-winning Self-Help Graphics & Art,
the best-selling The Chicano Studies Reader;
the first English-Zapotec dictionary in the world, and one of the earliest books on
Latino Los Angeles A Community Under Siege.

DVDs
The Chicano Cinema and Media Arts Series showcases important and rare
Chicano films and videos. The first DVD documents two pivotal art exhibitions
in Los Angeles. The second and third DVDs are experimental films from the artist Harry Gamboa Jr.
The fourth DVD is a border mockumentary titled Frontierland / Fronterilandia.

Journals
The Press has published the journal of record
in the field Aztlán: A Journal of Chicano Studies since 1970.
The interdisciplinary, refereed journal publishes high-quality,
original research relevant to or informed by the Chicano experience.
It is published in print and online semi-annually in 250 to 300 page-issues.

Policy Briefs
The Latino Policy & Issues Brief is an occasional four-page
report that highlights policy-related research on Latinos
in the United States. Recent issues have addressed education,
public health, labor, and immigration.
